A possible postgraduate

Image
I have recently considered doing a postgraduate degree abroad, considering how difficult the unstable work situation exists in Latin America, especially in the case of art and artistic disciplines. That is why in the future I would very much like to be able to do a postgraduate degree abroad, I would like to attend a university in Barcelona, since it is a very beautiful city and I would have no problems understanding the language. my plans to finance this diploma, will be once after graduating from pedagogy, work a time as a teacher, in order to save money about two years and finance the degree in Spain. I would love to specialize in media arts or in painting restoration, I would learn something that I love and I would also deepen my study so that in the future I can support myself. I know it sounds a bit frivolous to say that my goal of this academic base is work and money, however this quarantine has made me think about how important independence and having my feet on the ground...

What I wanted to do when I grow up

Image
When I was a child, I wanted to be many things when i grew up. For a while I wanted to be a ballet dancer, I was in a workshop in the municipality with many girls, but I did not have much tolerance for frustration, besides I have never gotten along with harsh discipline, so I was there for two years and I gave up.  Another thing I wanted to study as a child was medicine. A grandfather gave me a medical kit with all the accessories. I remember spending hours and hours looking at the photos of the medical books, then I realized that what captivated me most was the intrigue that the images gave me. In eighth grade, I thought about studying philosophy, at that time being a little more aware of my identity and what I really wanted. I finally decided to study visual arts. In 2013 I entered an art school, where my artistic learning began, from that moment I started my own journey in self-knowledge and in art. Many people to this day ask me what the future of art is, how is it b...

Art in my life

Image
From a very young age, I have had a very close relationship with art. My mother worked in the area of culture, she had a strong character but she was very good and she always took me with her to her painting and poetry workshops. While she was in her classes, I was drawing on the other side waiting for her. Also with my cousins we went to see theater, drawing workshops, exhibitions and museums. Sometimes there might not be much money but the culture was never lacking. I grew up in a house full of books, however I was never that good at reading, my thing was images and colors. This is how in the first year of school they changed me to an artistic high school. There the world opened to me, I met people who were dedicated to the same thing as me and with the same sensitivity to the world. Then I entered the basic cycle of the University of Chile and now I am completing my degree. However I have never stopped learning new things. My specialty is painting. In my learning process I ...

The most important photo

Image
Today I want to talk about the most important photo capture for me. I took this photo in 2016, that year for me had been emotionally hard, so I decided to adopt "dolancito". He accompanied me in this difficult stage of my life, however he accompanied me for a few months, he was poisoned and a few hours later he died at the vet.   I think this photo is important because it is the only one I have of that kitten, that is the only record of its existence. What makes me curious is that he was like a guardian angel, it lasted as long as my pain lasted, I understood a while ago that maybe that was his mission. I have also reflected that life is finite, and that is not necessarily bad.  thaks for read!<3333

My fauvorite technology object

Image
In my personal experience, my favorite technological object is the computer. Since I was child, I had access to a computer. When I was twelve, I exchanged storybooks and dolls for the computer. I entertained myself by playing games that came on CD or to dress up dolls online. In my preadolescence I knew Japanese anime and I was a fan of it for several years. Today the computer seems to me a complex world that has many possibilities to investigate. the previous semester I was in a class to learn programming and create art with the computational medial.  It was a good experience, although I realized that understanding computational language requires a lot of experience, work, and math skills. I got to make some images and animations with programming codes. I hope in the future to re-experiment with computers and art, to continue learning about this difficult subject. byebye!!!<3

AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Image
Hello to all my readers, today I will tell you about my life. I was born in Santiago of Chile on November 23, 1998, in the commune of Puente Alto, where I lived until I was four years. There we had a big house with a pool and a dollhouse where I played with my cousins. I had a very happy childhood, with a lot of freedom and exploration.  I went to the basic school "Ensenada de la Florida", In those times, we went with my mother, my aunts and my cousins to free cultural events in Santiago, I participated in many workshops and artistic competitions in my childhood. At thirteen I began to feel very uncomfortable at my school. everyone liked television and soccer and they had very conflicting personalities.  So in high school I entered an artistic college called ISUCH. There I changed the look of the world, and I met many people, some danced, others played music and others painted. we organized cultural events with total autonomy. in that school...
